Shared Accommodations

Have you always wanted to sleep in a school? Now you have the chance to experience this adventure.

150 selected schools (with about 30,000 spaces) and affiliated school sports halls (with about 5,000 spaces) can be booked as shared accommodations for approximately 35,000 participants. Distribution among the schools in the city and within the school will be based on affiliation with a regional gymnastics association. Please understand that there might be some mixing of clubs from different regional associations at certain schools. If desired, gender-segregated accommodation for club groups is possible, although this might mean that two clubs share a room.

Overnight stays are only possible with a booked festival pass. The assigned shared accommodation will be marked on the festival pass and serves as access authorization.

Regular Opening Hours of the Accommodations:

  • Wednesday, May 28th 2025, from 10:00
  • Sunday, June 1st 2025, until 6:00

Can’t get enough of the Turnfest and want to extend your stay? You can book additional pre- and post-event nights individually.

Extra Opening Hours of the Accommodations:

  • Tuesday, May 27th 2025, from 6:00
  • Monday, June 2nd 2025, until 6:00

(Note: Due to limited availability for post-event overnight stays, there might be changes in accommodations in some cases.)

Breakfast

Breakfast is provided from Thursday to Sunday, from 6:30 to 9:30, and is included in the overnight stay price. If you book a pre-event stay, you can also enjoy breakfast on Wednesday morning from 6:30 to 9:30. If you stay an additional night, please plan your breakfast independently.

Don’t forget to bring breakfast dishes and a dish towel, or secure our limited-edition breakfast set in Turnfest design soon from the Turnfest-Shop.

Arrival

All available schools are well-connected to public transportation. If you are arriving by car, please use the parking spaces in the surrounding area. Parking on school grounds is reserved for people with disabilities, adhering to safety regulations (fire access and escape routes).

Staying in the School

There is a general ban on alcohol and smoking in the rooms and on the entire school grounds. The valid house rules of the schools are posted at the entrance and are considered accepted upon entry.

Showers are available in the affiliated school sports halls and in additional shower containers set up on-site. We also recommend using the showers at the event locations.

In all shared accommodations, a central information board, usually located at the entrance, provides details about the helper and support team, public transportation connections, Turnfest news, important emergency contact numbers, and the Turnfest house rules. Please follow the instructions of the accommodation team and site manager. They are your contacts for any questions during the event period.

The rooms must be left in a broom-clean condition by the clubs when leaving the school.
